Sourced from Dak Lak and Lam Đong

We source the beans for this Vietnamese ground coffee from two distinct provinces in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. The Robusta majority comes from partner farms in Đak Lak Province at 600 to 800 meters elevation. Consequently, the volcanic basalt soil and tropical climate produce beans of exceptional density and aroma. Then, we combine them with select Arabica from Lam Đong Province at 1,200 to 1,400 meters. Moreover, this elevation difference creates the perfect complementary contrast between bold lowland Robusta and refined highland Arabica. After harvest, our team processes the Robusta using the natural method to develop fullness and sweetness. In contrast, we wash the Arabica to bring out cleaner, more aromatic notes. Finally, we roast each component to a dark profile at our own facility before grinding to phin-optimized consistency.

Tasting Profile and Brewing Guidance

This Vietnamese ground coffee delivers a full, syrupy body with low-medium acidity and pronounced flavor depth. Meanwhile, the cup features dark cocoa, roasted walnut, brown sugar, and a long, smooth finish. For the traditional Vietnamese phin filter, use 25g of coffee with 180ml of hot water at 95°C. Brew time runs 4 to 5 minutes for optimal extraction. Alternatively, prepare it as espresso with an 18g dose pulled to 36g in 25 to 30 seconds. Furthermore, this Vietnamese ground coffee pairs beautifully with condensed milk for the classic cà phê sữa đá. Therefore, you can enjoy it black for maximum intensity or sweetened for a traditional iced experience.
